This film is an educational version of “Through a Blue Lens”.  The film follows seven high school students as they investigate the complex world of drug addiction.  They talk to beat officers, recovered addicts, people in drug recovery, and those still struggling with drug abuse.  The students engage their subjects in lively and provocative interviews designed to stimulate classroom discussion.  This culturally diverse group of teenagers also share a wide range of opinions about addiction.  These opinions shift and develop as the students learn more from the people on the frontlines whose lives have been deeply affected by the tragedy of drug abuse.
