Donna Gamble, an Aboriginal woman, was raised in foster homes, addicted to drugs and caught up in street prostitution. A remarkable incident motivated her to leave the street and become a powerful voice in counselling prostitutes and teenagers. We meet Donna’s mother Sylvia, who has turned her life around to become an addictions counsellor. Also, Donnas’ daughters, two of who have chosen very different paths.
