Going Wild - Natural Law for Kids

Subject:
Mental Health
Minutes Long:
19

In Going Wild, three kids are taken on a weekend adventure with an Aboriginal Elder and a police officer for a lesson about teamwork, responsibility and respect. Incensed at losing their weekend, distrustful of one another, and dead set against the idea of working together, the kids’ assignment to build a lean-to appears to be heading straight for disaster! Rooted in the teachings of Aboriginal Natural Law, Going Wild seeks to bring children back to nature, and in doing so help them rediscover enduring values such as sharing, caring, kindness and respect for Mother Nature.    2010
